I've gone here for years and have gotten rats and product from both stores in Clio and Burton. But the last three times I have gone to this location I have been told incorrectly two times about the gender of animals and they sold me a rat that had an active tumor and passed within 3 months of having her. I went there in April and saw two mini rexes and was told by the gentleman that, 'They were the same gender.' He said that to me and my partner. And so we bought them both as we didn't want to separate them. Then skip to today, I took them to the vet and one is clearly a boy and the other is probably a female. I called to complain and was just told they don't guarantee the gender of their animals and they will talk to the man who said it. TWICE this has happened. Spending over 500$ on bunnies and then now needing to throw 600$+ to get them spayed and neutered. It's absolutely baffling that this is what they do. Probably just wanted the sale and that is why he said it. My lesson has been learned but beware and if they do it to you, don't believe them at all. Absolutely ridiculous.

Went in there for some stuff for my newly acquired frogs. Had the pleasure of having Nathan help me out. Gave me some excellent advice and made sure I had exactly what I needed. Couldn't ask for better customer service. Highly recommend!

When I went in there it was absolutely amazing! I’ll start off with the animas they were taken care of amazingly, and had everything they needed, next it is good priced compared to pet smart or any of those other corporate companies, lastly service was amazing I don’t remember his name but he was at the front at 1st and asked us if we needed anything and usually we never ask questions because most employees don’t really know much about the animals there just there to work but not them they answered every question with detailed information and even told us what he wouldn’t do. This store is a 10/10 I will be there again.

The employees that work there are so knowledgeable and friendly! They advise on what they feel the best products for my pets are based on what we need and they have never steered me wrong. I have several cats and one struggles with her digestion. She struggled to keep it down and when she did, I believe it was truly unpleasant for her. So much so that I believe she was in pain. She was losing weight and her fur was thinning out all over. She would always hide from people and she NEVER slept on any soft surfaces. I think maybe soft surfaces caused her more pain. I think she was absolutely miserable and the anxiety of it all caused her to constantly lick herself repetitively in the same spot. So much so, she completely licked away her fur and caused an unhealing wound that was about 2 inches or more in diameter! I was so scared and worried! I was telling the gentleman about it and asked if he had any thoughts or ideas that could help. He explained that many of the different pet food brands used a lot of fillers in their products. He said that basically means that my babies are going to be eating more often because fillers don't provide the nutrients they need and they will be hungr
